ink+PAPER #3 is at the presses and so begins the nervous/excited wait for the finished book to appear in our hands… In the meantime, it’s time for some sneak peekage.
Euan Cook is an illustrator from London, and has produced an exceptionally beautiful piece of work for i+P #3, based on an Indian folk tale: a woman is married to a crab, but, unsurprisingly, the marriage isn’t a happy one:
Does it end well for girl or crab? Find out in i+P #3! It’s a magically atmospheric story, with a classic style – hints of Posy Simmonds and Edward Ardizzone (at least, to my mind). Perfect fireside reading for a spooky night.
i+P #3 can be pre-ordered right now and don’t forget, if you’re in the London area on the 9th November, please come along to our launch (with our good friends of The Strumpet). If you’re on Facebook, there’s an event page here.
