Issue #3

Issue #3 is ready for pre-order!

In this winter issue of ink+PAPER, we’ve a veritable galaxy of comics and features for you to explore. Contributors include Joe Blann, Fred Blunt, Emma Carlisle, John Cei Douglas, Euan Cook, Emma Donnelly, Emma Evans, Fay & Marc Olivent, Sarah Graley, Dan Haycocks, Akvile Miseviciute, Nulsh, Julia Scheele & Chrissy Williams, Matt Sheret, Rebecca Tobin, Kelly Walton and Andrew Waugh. It’s been an absolute delight to put together (though next time I’ll be careful not to ask three Emmas – very confusing).

There’ll be previews soon, but first I have to announce our launch party which we’ll be hosting with our good friends at The Strumpet, who are launching their bumper second issue – check out the fantastic contributors over at the Strumpet blog.

Orbital Comics in London are generously providing the venue and we’re acting as the after-party for Bryan Talbot’s interview in Foyles, just down the road. We’re also the pre-party for the autumn Comiket, where i+P#3 will be on sale. Do come along if you can: 7pm on the 9th November at Orbital!

Issue 2 Contributors

Summer may seem like a long way off but the work for the second issue of ink+PAPER is already under way. This issue’s lineup is almost completely different from #1, a deliberate decision in order to ensure the breadth of available talent gets its time in the spotlight. I’m particularly delighted by the artists who’ve agreed to contribute and am really looking forward to seeing this bumper edition!

Barring any last-minute stuff, there will be comics from Fred Blunt, Francesca Cassavetti, Rick Eades, Sarah Gordon, Paul Harrison-Davies, Sally-Anne Hickman, Kripa Joshi, Sarah McIntyre, Will Morris, Paul Peart-Smith, Andy Poyiadgi, John Riordan, Kim Roberts, Carl Thompson, Andrew Waugh and Seán Michael Wilson. There’ll also be contributions from Esther McManus, Jenni Scott, Selina Lock and Jay Eales.

So if you’re planning a summer escape and are in need of a bit of reading material, whether in paperback or digital form, then look no further.

ink+PAPER #2 is due out in June 2012.
